A very good photo laboratory with quick service is "Color Six Laboratories Ldt." in 18a Stanley Street (the "photo-street" in Hong Kong) in the quarter "Central". Here we developed our slide-films and even got good paper-prints from slide.
Every travel agency offers visa service for China. If you want to save the service fee, you can get a China-visa simple and fast at the visa-office of the Chinese government (there is no Chinese embassy/consulate in Hong Kong, because now it belongs to China).
